🔌 Project Milestone Achieved – 132kV Cable Installation Complete! ⚡
We’re proud to share a major milestone on one of our high-voltage infrastructure projects in Western Sydney: the final haul of 132kV cable connecting this HV Private Substation (designed and under construction by Ausconnex) to the grid.
Over the course of this significant installation:
🚧 39 cable drums were transported and hauled – each weighing a massive 30 tonnes
🚧 A total of 37.251 kilometres of high-voltage cable was installed
🚧 The route spanned multiple suburbs, requiring a mix of day and night works
🚧 Extensive stakeholder management and planning* was critical to ensuring smooth delivery
This complex operation was made possible by the expertise, dedication, and collaboration of an exceptional project team Charl van Wyk, George Stevana, Darryl Ellul, Johanna Swift, Stanley Shao, Alan Pham, Peter Gaul, Abdullah Al Nasseri, Vesna Nolevski, , Peter Cvetanovski MOHS. 👷♀️👷♂️ Huge kudos to everyone involved for your professionalism, persistence, and teamwork throughout.
